The most important aspect of installing a floor is the sub-floor preparation.

Sub-floors mirror through to the final finish, so the more effort spent upon achieving a flat, level amd smooth sub-floor the better the final result.

Sub-floors have various issues to be dealt with, including:

Damp/moisture

Cracking and fissures

Weak screeds and 'hollowness'

Expansion joints

Contamination - oils, grease etc.

For resin floors, we often shot-blast the surface to return the sub-floor to its original state.

This provides the mechanical key necessary to achieve a good bond.

The expertise gained through the extra preparation necessary to install a resin floor, means that our attention to detail in preparing a vinyl floor is of an extra high quality.
