JCDecaux is the world-leading manufacturer of 'street-furniture' and their London headquarters are housed in an Art Deco building, incorporating a large warehouse of approximately 4000 square metres.

The re-fit of the warehouse area was overseen by Sir Norman Foster + Partners architects and had to meet both performance criteria and be contemporary in appearance.

To give the client a better idea of the finished floor colour and texture, we installed a test patch.

The sub-floor was a power-floated concrete slab with an extremely flat finish. After mechanically preparing the surface to create a 'key' for the resin to obtain a better bond, we primed and laid the epoxy resin flow.

The smooth surface underneath was mirrored through the final layer, giving an extremely flat and smooth finish as you can see from the pictures.
