Vinyl sheet and vinyl tiles are a popular choice for floor-coverings. More than just an economical, durable and practical option, vinyl comes in a variety of different formats and styles.

We often install vinyl in corridors, toilets, shower-rooms, kitchens, laboratories and general room areas.

Vinyl includes 'safety flooring' designed to prevent slips and trips by having a textured surface. Certain saftey floors can be installed in wet-areas and shower rooms and are designed to grip in wet conditions.

Vinyl is a decorative product with a wide range of finishes from standard single colours, to marbleised vinyl, quartz effect vinyl, aluminium tread-plate effect, wood plank effect and even two-tone, pearlescent effect vinyl is offered by some manufacturers.

Vinyl is highly practical and is available in sheet or tile form. Sheet vinyl is bonded to the floor and then has adjoining seams hot-air welded to prevent moisture creeping underneath.

For skirting and at the edges of rooms, vinyl can be coved (turned up a radius, up the wall) and capped to provide a very hygienic and tight finish, or have coving strips 'sat-on' or 'set-in' the vinyl.
